About Mountain Strings and Jazz Workshop...

What’s different about playing chamber music is that you get to play in a smaller group...on purpose! As a developing musician, you get more individual instruction; and as a member of a smaller group, your contribution means much more to the group. You learn the real life skills needed to play in any group small or large.

It’s more like being on a team.

This is a program for young musicians who are serious about becoming the best they can be, and want to have fun reaching that goal. Most of our musicians picture themselves playing music for a long time, not just for a little while.
